The "adult" blank on the Individual Trip Agreement form is currently applicable only to band chaperones. Their price per person is based on the number of persons per room and includes roundtrip motor coach transportation.
The cancellation policy shown on the Individual Trip Agreement Form does not apply. If you pay the down payment and are then unable to go or if you are unable to pay for the trip in full by the November 16th deadline, your student's name will be removed from the trip roster and all payments that you have made toward the trip will be applied to your student's band account. NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED.

DISNEY TAG-ALONG PACKAGES
Just received the information on tag-along packages for the Disney trip. Basically, it includes everything in the student package except transportation and the Incentive Awards event which is for students and directors only. The price per person is $389 quad, $426 triple, $499 double, and $719 single. If you would like to purchase a tag-along package, please complete the Individual Trip Agreement Form for a tag-along package (which will be available on the website shortly) and submit it with your down payment of $165 per person by September 21st. Your second payment of $165 per person is due on October 19th, and the balance is due on November 16th. If you fail to pay for the tag-along trip in full by the November 16th deadline, your name will be removed from the trip roster and any money paid will be credited to your student's account. NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED. Checks should be made payable to AHS Band Parents and submitted with the Individual Trip Agreement Form for tag-alongs. These can be mailed to AHS Band, P.O. Box 166, Athens, AL 35612, turned in to the Treasurer at the September 13th band parents meeting, or put in a clearly marked envelope and placed in the wooden box on the wall in Mr. Williams office.
NOTE: CHAPERONES SHOULD COMPLETE THE TRIP AGREEMENT FORM PROVIDED WITH THE STUDENT PACKAGE. ALL OTHER ADULTS SHOULD COMPLETE THE TRIP AGREEMENT FORM PROVIDED WITH THE TAG-ALONG PACKAGE.
Band is heading south to Disney World in December! A trip to Walt Disney World, where the band will perform in the Disney Magic Music Days Parade, was approved by the membership at the July band parent’s meeting. The band will leave Athens on Monday, December 27th and return on Friday, December 31st. Included is roundtrip motor coach transportation, 4 nights hotel accommodations in Orlando, 4 continental breakfasts, 3 day hopper pass to Walt Disney World Resort (to include Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios and Animal Kingdom), performance in Disney Magic Music Days Parade, Incentive Award Ceremony (students and directors only, services of a Spotlight tours representative and all taxes and gratuities. All the details are available in the newsletter and available forms are available for download to your left.

The Athens High School Band is one of the Southeast's most celebrated high school bands! The Athens High School Band has long been recognized for its quality of performance, both on the field and concert stage. Rich in tradition, the Concert Band has participated at the State Band Competition Festival since 1952, receiving more "Superior" ratings than any other band in its class! The Marching Band has won numerous first place awards at parades and field competitions from Miami to Phoenix. The Athens High Jazz Band was organized in 1974 and has received "Superior" ratings at many festivals.
