Band Contest Hanceville, Alabama
Hanceville Competition - Saturday, October 13th, 2007: Students should be in block formation and ready for rehearsal at 3 PM. Band parents will provide sandwiches and a snack at 4 PM. Buses will pull out at 4:30 PM. The band will perform at 7:50 PM. Awards will be at 9:30 PM. Students will be able to change out of the uniform after their performance and eat dinner (concession stand) before the awards ceremony. Students will need to bring money for dinner. The band should return around Midnight.
Directions to Hanceville High School 10/13/07-16th Annual Mud Creek Marching Festival
Approximately 63 miles, approximately 1 hour, 15 minutes.
Travel South on I-65 to the 304 Exit, AL Hwy 69, 50 miles.
Turn Left or East on Hwy 69, continue for app. 3 1/2 miles until reaching the intersection of U.S. Hwy 31.
Turn Right or South on Hwy 31 and continue for app. 8 miles until reaching the intersection of Commercial Street.
Turn Left or East on Commercial Street, high school and stadium on the right.

Fruit Sale
Fruite Sales Begin! We will be selling the usual fruit - oranges, grapefruit, naval oranges, etc.
Fruit sales will start October 10th and will last through October 24th. We will offer juice oranges, red grapefruit, navel oranges and tangelos.
Sale Price will be $18 per box with 50% of sales going toward quota. Fruit will be delivered November 14th. Money should be collected at time of sale. Please make one check payable to AHS Band Parents. Carol Galuska and Kim Daly will be in charge of the fruit sales.
